    Thanks for all the input guys. I put a new T-stat in it last night and helped big time. My ECT is back up to 190* and my EOT is sitting at 200. I ran it about 25 miles at 65 MPH and it hovered right there. The highest I saw was an 11* difference when I put my foot in it. You guys are awesome.

    I was running 178* with the rad blocked. I'm going to put a t-stat in it tomorrow and hope that helps

    powerstroked162, It's around -20* or so currently. Haven't had a lot of days that are above 0* so I'm sure maybe this has something to do with it?

    Ok, it just stays at a constant 178* whether I'm hard on the throttle or not. Because if I'm not mistaken the ECT should be around 190* correct?

    Also, I live in Minnesota so the air temps right now are anywhere from -20* to 30* if that helps.

    I have a 2003 6.0 and am reading 178 engine coolant temp and about 200 for my oil temp which puts me in the 22 degrees difference range. I understand ideal coolant temp should be at 190 so should I maybe try a new T-stat to get my deltas closer, or would that bring my oil temp higher as well...

    Well I'm 21* difference on the highway. 180* ect and 201* eot.. steady 65 mph driving. Ideas?

    I have EOT and ECT gauges in my truck but they're glowshift junk (came with the truck), so I'll be scanning on my way home. But according to my gauges that are in the pillar I'm between 7-10 roughly.

But the coolant was between the minimum level and the max level when I did the flush which was 3K miles ago. Loboost, the truck is not studded yet and I have the EGR delete kit but haven't...

    I just installed an SCT SF3 in my '03 6.0 with stock gaskets and tranny. Does anybody know if the race tune that comes on the SF3 is safe for my stock motor? I'm currently running it on street and like it. Also, is it safe to lock the torque converter in a stock trans/converter? Any answers...

    Bought my first powerstroke this weekend!!!

    Congrats on the truck! I wish I had the ZF6 in mine. Sounds like you have a bullet proof set up already but I agree with Bretferd, I'd upgrade your clutch if it hasn't been already.
