Thanks spongebob915 I'll try that. Ghohouston I did that it didn't have any before I changed hpop but I refilled it and cranked it still no start.- Superstroke58

2002 powerstroke no oil pressure/no start
I'm stumped...I drove the truck for 3-4 hours off and on went home it sit for a few hours went to leave again it started and I noticed the "check gauges" light checked the gauges and had no oil pressure and before I could get it shut down it died. 2002 7.3 water/coolant under valve cover
My 2002 7.3 started running off the left bank assuming it was the valve cover harness this is notorious for going bad I pulled the valve cover an there is water an like a foamy substance there I also have loss of coolant in the coolant tank. The harness did come unplugged due to the foamy stuff...- Superstroke58

I'm sure the reason it isn't running of that side is because the harness because the water an foamy substance is causing bad connection but I'm curious of what is causing the foaming stuff- Superstroke58

Just removed the valve cover on the passenger side, an there is foamy looking stuff an water in there!? Pulled oil dip stick an the oil looks fine.- Superstroke58

2002 7.3 running off left bank only
Replaced passenger side head gasket truck ran fine for two days come out the third day started let it run for 10min or so made it a 1/4 of a mile and it started running off the left bank (driver side). Engine light is on have yet to scan it though. I'm thinking it's the valve cover harness.- Superstroke58
