I have had hit or miss luck getting betas with wix filters.

SAE defines absolute as 98.6% efficiency (a beta value of 75), nominal is typically less.... sometimes in the 50-75% efficient range. Wix rates all their filters based on nominal, Donaldson for the most part rates their filters in absolutes.

Also take a peek at the oil pan...7.3 pans can rust out. I know it is not a huge issue in CA but you never know where the truck started its life.
