Traveling thru nanny states. Would a compound fix the issue?

When I have mine on the tow tune it runs very clean, even in the mountains with 15k pound fiver behind me and a non VGT. So a milder tune will help if you are really concerned.

    Industrial Injection add a turbo

I don't have the add a turbo but still have a link to my single kit, maybe you can back your way into the compound instructions? https://www.industrialinjection.com/media/downloadable/Single67.pdf

    Non VGT Tuners

Mine are from Truck Source Diesel but I had them dyno tune my truck. I went through several tunes from 3 or 4 different online and none of them hold a candle to my current tunes. I'd recommend finding a shop that has a dyno within driving distance for you and have them tune, most still have...

    HVAC Issues

I know that few, if any, look at these boards anymore but thought I'd post back results. Evap temp sensor didn't fix my issue, ended up replacing the a/c pressure switch on the high side by the compressor. A/c works again.

    HVAC Issues

I ended up drilling a small hole that the probe would fit through and sealing it up with silicon pooky. I'll report back on how it works out, will be in the 80s down here this weekend so a/c will definitely be in use.

Thanks! I have tools and skills needed, what I don't have is time lol.

    HVAC Issues

Makes sense because I have dual zone auto it must be freezing up quickly. Can I cut a hole and install the new sensor in a location close to the current sensor? I saw one picture from one post in all of my searches but no description of how they did it. Really don't want to spend a grand to...

    HVAC Issues

I have searched but none of the posts I found had the same issues, or at least description of issues, that I have. Last summer my truck would blow cold air and then hot, it wasn't cyclical rather once it went hot it would not blow cold sometimes for days. Did some research and bought the new...

    Aftermarket Trans Builder?

    Aftermarket Trans Builder?

I am local to TSD so I had Chris B Dyno tune it and he felt it shifted very well which it does in normal traffic, just doesn't seem to like going from 0 to 20 and back to 0 constantly for 20 miles straight. Not unhappy with it and I'm nowhere close to the 750hp it was built for. Might be the 2nd...

    Aftermarket Trans Builder?

So overall shifting isn't bad, actually it is perfect the issue is in traffic. I drive about 20 miles to work and it generally takes me about an hour every day so lots of stop and go traffic which puts me in 1-2-3 and lock unlock on the converter. My TC is so strong lock up feels like another...

    Aftermarket Trans Builder?

I have a full Suncoast 750 unit. Billet flex plate, billet converter, and all their other mods. It isn't the most comfortable daily trans but it will last for a very long time. Definitely puts power to the ground. I have stock fuel with an S363 and TSD tuning that put 585 to the wheels.

    HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP DONE

Not much activity on this form anymore. Plenty to search though, there is a ton of posts about turbos (thread at the top of this page), fuel system, tuning, etc...if you have to replace everything anyway now is the time to upgrade but what you do depends on how you use the truck, how much HP you...

330k on clock, what internals to upgrade?

Rods, studs, etc...I recall there being some lists online for what it takes to make a grand with the 6.7 and pretty sure you'll need more than the 64mm. Dual fuel is going to be required to make a grand too. I have the strongest kit Suncoast makes for the 6r and they say 750 but I'm sure with...

6.7 Preferred Mods for Long Life?

My 2012 has 245k on it and never had a HP pump fail, or issues with the LPFP for that matter. I typically go 12-15k on oil changes using Lucas oil and Amsoil bypass for extra filtration, analysis come back fine every time. Around 30% of my hours are idle hours, maybe more. Chris B @TSD got 576...

Trade H&S 63mm kit for your modified VGT 15+ setup?

I have same set up and tow 15k around town but have TSD tunes and Suncoast transmission. Not the best set up with 3:55s but certainly not bad enough to make a swap. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Getting a 6.7, what to do first?

I second the TSD tunes. Mine was dyno tuned with them and Chris made some adjustments because I have a full Suncoast built 750+ transmission. As for fuel filtration I have the factory lift pump supporting just over 575hp at the wheels with 237,000 trouble free fuel system miles. I'm with Sootie...

    MPD Quick Spool Budget kit

I have a 2012 with an S363 but not sure if it is SXE. It is a 63/68 from Industrial though. I have stock fuel and TSD got 576 with a leak on the stand pipes so boost fell off around 27 lbs so might be around 580 since fixed and able to get 32 lbs. I've had mine on for around 50k miles with a lot...

    Problems Being Del***d in Texas

They have gotten pretty tight on safety inspections down here. My guy used to just slap the sticker on my truck and off I went, now every bulb etc...and even told me my tint on front windows is not compliant (pretty sure I'm 35%) so emissions could be next. Not sure any shop is set up for actual...

    2012 F350 improvements

I have a 2012 with 235k miles. I replaced the factory turbo at 175k because the shop was in there replacing a manifold and it had slop in the wheel so it was preventative. I have an Industrial Injection kit on mine and while it performs well it has shortcoming due to it really being a Cummins...
