So after checking wires and putting in a new switch I am now going to check the multi function switch. My headlights mysteriously came back on without a reason. Here's to electrical fun! :toast:

It's a 2004, I couldn't find anything searching the net. I will definitely check the switch asap. Any way to bench test it? I'm not too up to speed on multi meters or power probes. THANKS!

I checked all fuses and replaced the bulbs. This happened while parked. No low beams or high beams but I do have driving, turn, hazard and brake lights. I have not taken the power dist. box out and checked the back side for grounding issues or any melted plastic. Has anyone seen this?

The 99 has a good body and I have a 7.3l motor in storage. The 99 was my first truck I personally ever bought so it ain't going anywhere haha. The 16hrs comes from Ford.

Im trying to gauge the time it would take to swap over my truck to diesel. I am converting my 99 v10. I have all the tools and hoist to make this possible. I think the book calls for 16hrs to pull the motor. So with all Im guessing 72ish. How many hours have swaps taken you guys?

My money is on the shift motor....
