I love the setup I put on my dually for regularly towing my 30' gooseneck with 16k+ lbs on it. I never know the trailer is back there. I went with a regulated return, 175/30s, powermax with ******** tunes
Its been a very drawn out project thats for sure! Yeah trying to get someone to paint mine has been a battle thats for sure! Im terrible at body work so it would be even worse if I tried to do it myself lol. It still has a little ways to go but it finally has color. Itll be nice once both of our...
Haha yeah out of all the 6.4 and 6.0s over the years Ive done full rebuilds on this was a first for me. And your exactly right a straight edge will be on there from now on
Yeah this is a first for me with having a bent ring. I have a core engine sitting here I just figured it might be quicker since those tone rings arent weld on,
Looks like I found the issue. Took it to ford and had the PCM updated. Fired up and ran but loped real bad and had no throttle. Cam and crank kept going in and out of sink. Pulled the oil pan off and turned then engine over and sure enough the dam tone ring is slightly bent in in one space...
That doesn't bother me. Mine has holes in it and rotted crossmembers on top of being wavy. If it's a solid bedlined floor with good crossmembers and the dually fenders aren't all wavy either from being in the sun then it's a lot better than what's on my truck right now.
Alright I think I want it. I can't stand the wavy bed floor or dually fender on my truck. Would you want me to send payment first? I'm not sure how soon it'll be til I can get down there
Oh I gotcha, yeah I do bullet proofing and all that. I guess the thread did kinda give that away lol I can definitely get that all done for you. I'll shoot you a pm.
Thanks guys! Im really happy I went with the cadillac phantom grey, I cant wait to actually see it in person
Thanks Zach! Yeah youll definitely have to come up, your welcome to any time!
