Replacing my hpfp I have the turbos out and they have some play in the shafts in/out and up/down. They have 140k on them. Was wondering if anyone has done a rebuild and has a recommendation for a rebuild kit or a write up on it? Thanks

I got my new hpfp installed and have been cleaning pieces to put back togeather. I took the plugs out of the fuel rails to wash them out and was wondering if anyone knows what to torque the plugs to? also what is the best way to clean out the fuel return ports in the heads? I have the injectors...

Got the new pump installed been cleaning and putting the truck back togeather. Took the fuel rails apart cleaned them out. Didn't really see any metal chips in them. Does anyone know what the plugs on the end should be torqued too? Also I have the injectors out and going to send them to rcd...

Also the alliant pump I just got doesn't have the snap ring for the seal behind the drive gear. Should I put the one in off of my stock pump? Thanks

I checked today the low pressure has axial play and in /out play. The high pressure seems to only have axial play. It doesn't look like the wheels hit the housing. Anybody do the rebuild them selves? Who makes a good kit? Thanks

Ok so I got the truck apart Alliant pump will be here today. One up pipe was cracked so I ordered the rudys up pipes. I noticed whe I took the turbos out they have some oil in them and they have some play up and down. Do they need to be rebuilt? Is there a good kit that I can get to do it...

Ok so I finally got the money together to fix the truck. Going to pull the cab. I looked in the fuel bowl and there were like 4 little metal chips in the bottom. Does that mean that I need to do the injectors with the pump? If so what are good injectors to get? What else would be needed besides...

I don't know if it would make a difference but I have had the tuner on there for 4 years and 55,000 miles. Do I need to replace the injectors and lines Also? Would the pump ruin them? And I can't get the fuel water separater open,the lever won't move. Thanks

Ok I'm going to get a pump and the harness is there anything else that I need to put the new pump in? Any parts or gaskets? Also where is the best place to get a pump? I heard the ford ones were not good. Thanks

Was just driving home from work today and got check engine light and wouldn't rev over 2300rpm again. Was code P0088 fuel rail pressure too high. Would that be the hpfp harness? Thanks

I just checked today and at idle the rail pressure fluctuates about 100-150 psi. Also could it be a fuel filter or the fuel pump down on the frame rail that would make it act up? Thanks

Do you know the part number or where to get the harness from? Should I do the fuel rail pressure sensor at the same time? Thanks

At idle the rail pressure bounces like 400 psi. Is that normal?

it woul rev to 2300 rpm just fine and rail pressure would be steady. But once it hit 2300 it would cut out. You could hold the pedal floored and it would be like it got no fuel. Once it goes into overdrive it would be under 2300 rpm you could then lay into it to get moving and rail pressure...
