Going through hub assemblies too fast

Did you check the movement after you put those in to see if it had been fixed? Could it be ball joints instead of bearing?

DPS VGT Exhaust Housing for Non-VGT turbos

I'm curious how that works for them. I seem to remember somebody found a standard exhaust wheel that would fit in the 6.0 turbine housing. Spooled up and ran wonderful, but, the wheel was too thin and couldn't take it. Wonder if this might be the same.

My dad wants to buy 2x 2002 F550s...How to convince him to get a 6.7?

Depending on maintenance they may need injectors now or 100,000 miles from now. A set is probly around $1000. Cam position sensors go out sometimes. They can leak oil sometimes. If they've been ran without any filter changes or no filters they could have compression problems. I don't know if...

    DIY E fuel suggestions needed.

The fittings in the heads are 1/8" npt. I personally would just run -6 or 3/8 to the each head although for no more fuel than you'll have I think -4 would be fine. For the drivers side head you will want the shortest fitting possible, I used https://www.summitracing.com/parts/rus-660831. I also...

    TSD MPD 1.6 Tow Tune

Maybe a 6.0 is different but some vehicles I've driven got hot on WOT runs but with a trailer it never really was a problem.

    6.0 5r110w in 6.4

Thanks, good to know just swapping over the pan and filter will work. Anyone know if I need tune changes if I put in a modified direct solenoid? I'm running G-head street and my 3-5 shifts were never very good. The biggest hard part differences were the 03-04 to the 05-07 I believe?

    6.0 5r110w in 6.4

My trans is acting up was taking off moderately hard and when it shifted out of 3rd it barked the tires. I think it actually was sliding them but not sure and banged pretty good. So i stopped and when i went to take off it showed it was in 4th and finally shifted to 3rd but when i stopped again...

If it's like the 6.4 the filter isn't the real restriction, it's the snorkle.

    CAT Filter #'s anyone?

I believe the difference between the napa and cat is the filtering efficiency. I believe the way I've heard it explained is Cat's will not let anything larger than 2 micron through and that napa if it says it's 98% efficiency will block 98% of particles 2 micron and larger. I'm possibly...

    CAT Filter #'s anyone?

The post filter 33528 crosses to a cat 1r-0750 on Cats site. The pre filter 33367 doesn't cross to anything for Cat but what i used was a cat 175-2949 its crosses to a https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/FIL3005 I'm not sure your napa prefilter was even a water seperator.

    97 f250 08+ axle swap

The arms are angled in to the back, the axle isn't center very well side to side, but even on the close side it doesn't appear to be hitting. If you pm me your number I can try and send some pics don't think my phone will take good enough ones to see much though.

Let's spitball... 7.3 with shorter stroke?

From what i remember somebody, Morgan or HotRodTractor I believe, said the best from a performance aspect would be a large bore and short stroke. The big bore allows for a larger valve area to get the most air in. I believe it was in a discussion on stroker kits for 6.4's and that for strictly...

    6.4 high idle help

I'm gonna make a guess that it was to prevent washing down the cylinder walls, which can tend to happen even when it's warm from too much idling. Also keeps the smoke down and the heat up to keep from plugging the d.p.f. I wouldn't say its a must have if dieting but too me it has more benefits...
