Can I put a 6.0 Alternator in my 2000 7.3

The connectors are the same for the SuperDuty. You can shim the alternator up, or grind the bracket.

Raising the line pressure is nothing more than a band aid. To do it right, you need to go through the accumulator body. :thumbsup:

09-16 retrofit....anyone done this?

Yes it will work on a SuperDuty. You place a jumper between two pin on the head light switch. I don't remember which pins to jump because it was many years ago. :D

Ditch the harness and PCM idea. Go with a stand alone controller like PCS.

Transmission Issue..... No CEL/OD Lights

Your issue might be in the accumulator body. Sticky direct valve. With 136k on the unit, you might want to rebuild. It sucks when they fry in the middle of a snow storm.:cursing::eek:

Yes. If you find ATF in the connector the pack is toast.

You can find a repair harness on evilbay, or a good parts store. As for the solenoid you will have to replace the solenoid pack.

Transgo Tugger with new VB ?

TransGo instructions will guide you through the whole process. It's really easy to do. Remember to drill your holes on the small side. You can always make them bigger. You can't make them smaller. Torque all bolts 80-100 Inch pounds.

Get this part from your favorite Ford dealer. Stay away from the cheap reman units.
