What have you done to your powerstroke today?

Bought a bunch of tools and parts to rebuild shocks. There is no Fox service location in Canada so I did some quick math and figured in a few cycles I'll break even. Factoring the cost per shock re/re plus parts, and shipping both ways.

    3.5” lift options

0" to 3.5" is a noticable change, 3.5" to 4" is negligible. As this is your truck, how your lift is attained is your decision. If I was looking at lift at that height I'd go with a spring lift to gain travel, and use adjustable radius arms to get the knuckle geometry set. Readylift is not a...

What have you done to your powerstroke today?

Installed a set of Ride Rite airbags. Wasn't as easy as the instructions made out, but that was mostly due to having OUO Traction Blocks which required drilling the jounce pad. The Jounce bumpers were somewhat rusty, and the lock nut was stubborn. Things got a bit easier after dropping the...

What have you done to your powerstroke today?

He's doing well. He did a trip through the Pacific Northwest before his move to San Hose-A from PDX. He'd never been here to Whistler in the summer; 10 or so times in the winter though.

    Steering Stabilizer help!

How are the rest of your steering components? Ball joints, tierod ends, draglink ends, pitman arm nut, steering box, wheel hubs, etc? Alignment? Remove the dampers and drive with them off to see if it does it too. Sometimes you get used to something and don't notcie it until you change something.

Sway bar for Carli 4.5” full leafs

I'm using a set of Icon swaybar links originally intended for the front of a 1999-2004 Superduty with 12" lift. I had intended to use them on my previous truck for the rear (7" lift) but never got around to it. My current 2016 truck has OEM leafs with OUO 8" traction blocks/bars and the length...

    08 Widetrack Super 60 in a 2000 Superduty DRW 4x4

You would need to see if the 2000-04 knuckle would work on the 08 axle. That's the only way to use the 16" rim.

    08 Widetrack Super 60 in a 2000 Superduty DRW 4x4

Larger brakes on the F450-550, being the same as the 2015-16 F250-350. Calipers are knuckle specific. The adapters should bolt on as the new hubs are 8x170 as well, as the parts for rotors are the same as SRW applications of 2015-16 F250-350. As to the wider track width, you might want to...

    99-04 lift advice

Rockauto has right side hangers for about $50. They can be used on the driver's side, but don't have the hole and slot for the parking brake cable. Keep existing hanger for parking brake and cut off whatever might interfere with the leafs. That $100 would be worth it to me not to have to chisel...

    99-04 lift advice

Remove and reuse the hanger that's on there now. Just need to chisel off the rivets. Key for any leaf spring are traction bars, regardless of arch or block height. If they are soft enough to allow the axle to move up and down, they will wrap. I have no issue with how my rear lift is done. 3/4"...
