Watching the storms lately and wondered what you've been up to down there, LOL.
Now I know, :D
Do you have a bigger garage now or you still blue tarping it? I actually thought you might stop at 600 but good for you.
Your right, 500 is enough for most. My rebuild is 2 years old now and...
You could be right here, like Black02 said, James at DP gives some good feedback as well. I haven't spoken to Jacob yet. Point is, if a dealer is communicating with the tuner a LOT, you could get the same answer as well.
I have emailed Jody a dozen times over the years and he always gets back to me. Sometimes in 24 hrs.
If you go through a dealer, your questions better be generic.
Not me, after all that work. I have just under 8k on mine in one year and I have been on it hard the last 1000 but I really wanted to try and seat them.
You also have to take out the whole front clip to get the engine out. Also remove the turbo before for clearance issues.
I think I would do studs and springs with the motor in. Lots of guys have done that.
I am in Glenrock. There was a guy in Casper that tried to start the Wyoming Powerstroke Club. I still have the sticker on my truck. He ran a tire shop. We met there one time in January about 5-6 years ago. Not sure what ever happened to it.
