    Dual remote IPR's

Ouch on the main bearings. However, that does indicate how much oil the pumps use and or need if they can lower LPO pressure enough to starve the mains. I sold my twins before I had a chance to set them up with this dual block and valley dump. I don't recall them making any noise, but it would...

    Dual remote IPR's

That would be an interesting option. Can I assume that would require ******** stock fule bowl? On a related tangent, I seem to recall starvation issues with bigger pumps when returning the oil to the pan instead of the reservoir. I also seem to recall some talk (might have been the voice in my...

    Dual remote IPR's

It came with a custom plug for running in single config. I was pretty fortunate to get this one. Jason is a solid dude. I definitely think twins need this. The amount of heat and oil foaming from the restriction really affects driveability. You can feel the oil fading under long or multiple WOT...

Anyone ever convert their stock manual hubs to auto?

To be fair, you were pretty vague. Maybe I should have clarified. But you could have also. Or is this a "sootie said so" kind of thing? You didn't really share any relevant info.

Anyone ever convert their stock manual hubs to auto?

That would make more sense. I wonder what the main issue was with those and if it was something addressed by an updated part?

Anyone ever convert their stock manual hubs to auto?

That's not even remotely true considering most 4WD vehicles in the last 20 years have them, only one of the 6 4WD vehicles I've owned (3 Fords, 1 Toyota, 1 Nissan, 1 Jeep) with auto hubs has had an issue (the Jeep was 25 years old and a vacuum line broke), none of my friends with them have had...

Anyone ever convert their stock manual hubs to auto?

I have manual hubs and T case on my E99. In winter I tend to just leave the hubs locked and shift from 2H to 4H when needed since the road conditions and weather in CO mtns can go from sunny dry roads to a blizzard just by changing location a few miles. If I'm just driving around local its not a...

    Power output of stage 1’s

Curtis did actually address exactly that in the post I linked. You need to get past the idea that you need a different program for towing. He towed with 250/200's over 10K ft passes in CO staying under 1200, and he wasn't driving slow, using the same tune he used to lay down 450 on PMR's. A tow...

    Power output of stage 1’s

What were the issues with the shifting? All of the shift strategies I tried, from very well known tuners, were absolutely undriveable in Colorado mountains and towing. Smokey, turbo surge, heat, slam shifting, never hated anything on my truck more than those tunes. The stock shifting solved all...

    Power output of stage 1’s

He doesn't post here anymore and doesn't tune anymore, but he wrote the best tunes my trucks ever had after repeated failures by a big name tuner. This should be relevant to your question.

    Power output of stage 1’s

Thats all in the tuning. You can tow with a max power tune. Finding a tuner who can do that is your biggest hurdle. Shift programming is a big culprit. Stock shift tuning actually works about perfect. Ramping fuel up early is another big issue and very common. Smoke is a sign of a poorly written...

    Glowshift gauges any good?

That is what drew me to them. Price wasn't even a consideration. I currently have a combo of isspro, dipricol and whatever Banks uses, and I don't like any of the display/faces.

    Dual remote IPR's

Ok, so I have this custom HRT Dual Remote IPR block and a fairly expensive set of custom hoses that I was planning to use with a set of twins (those are long gone and good riddance) But I'm still thinking of using it. Mostly for ease of access to the IPR. I was also thinking I could set it up as...

    Glowshift gauges any good?

What trend is that? This literally had nothing to do with price, I like the display. Please, share some more of your insight. I love ignorant commentary and you seem to be the go to guy now.

38r might be toast, looking at KC center section

I know you're not saying it's my issue, I'm really not trying to have a pissing match here. I'm just asking a logical question to see if I'm missing something, or if you are, or both, and making sure I'm understanding where your line of thinking is going. I appreciate the input very much. I've...

Are you saying they are the same as a stock pump, or the same as ea other and one has a reliability tweak?

Good info thanks for sharing that. I was gone for several years and it looks like drama did a lot of damage lol.

    Glowshift gauges any good?

I have 4 different styles/brands of gauges that have been slightly annoying me since I got the truck, and I dont like any of them (especially the Banks gauges) so I'm looking to get a matched set. I like the Glowshift gauge packages on Amazon with the color options but I don't know anything abut...

38r might be toast, looking at KC center section

If the injector was internally consuming oil somehow, it would have to go into the fuel and would show in the filter. Otherwise, where is it going? If it was just being returned to the oil system, it wouldn't be a consumption issue.
