Hey guys im having some issues with my HVAC system and was hoping y'all could help me out. Problem I'm having is its simply not woking, problem start late summer and it was working great then just shutoff like you turned it off. It would come and go and work as it should for weeks at a time, its has a new compressor, dryer and orifice tube I did in the spring and since the issue I've replaced the blower motor and the speed resistor. Anyone have any ideas what else it could be, could it be the controls in the cab have gone bad?

Is it energizing the clutch on the compressor? IDK if there is a low pressure safety switch in the system but if there is you can jump that and see if the compressor will kick in

Check both your plugs at the compressor and the switch. Those plugs break down internally and cause the exact symptom if its a hit and miss work scenario. Try wiggling , pinching and bending right at the connector with the truck running and AC engaged while watching the compressor clutch.

My plug was broken at the compressor. $10 for a new one.
Later compressor crapped out. 650 for that one
