Unfortunately no matter what you've done to the drive train, some people are scared of that 200k+ mark. I learned that the hard way when I went to sell my last 6.4. Despite that, you're priced more than fair. Most people buying an excursion care about towing with large groups, not performance mods, so I highly suspect your best bet is to go eBay with a dumbed down explanation of why it's reliable, and worth the money. Lots of high quality pics will go a long way too.. I really think you'll do much better going that route, or even come craigslist. Gotta be careful of the scammers though.

Thanks after following a previous poster advice I put it on there to and the reception is well...lukewarm lol. Here is the link

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ford-Excurs...tr=true&hash=item4ae6db6137&item=321700716855

I guess not many in the market for this type of vehicle. I saw another one on EBay with 40K more miles and bone stock bidding higher than mines. I have had at least 6-7 other tow vehicles and I can say after getting the work done this one has been the most trouble free. The only issues I had were kinda routine front brakes, starter, alternator and hub bearing. Now my V10 Excursion I had awhile back with 89K financed a few trips to Hawaii for all the service staff at the dealership LOL!

Thanks for looking

truck will do $10k on ebay no problem probably more

your ad is too long and detailed for the general public.

Hey thanks I was wondering what I did wrong. I will keep that in mind next time. I (mistakenly) thought people wanted to know all the details up front but next time I will just put the major points in and allow people to ask for the rest.

Not sure what you mean? He placed an offer in PM and I respectfully replied via PM and later in a text that didn't get a reply. When he sees it sold to someone he puts his thoughts of the deal in the thread and then you jump in too.

Lesson learned by me is that I will continue to respect and appreciate all offers and submissions while participating in great forums like this!

Thanks

:eek:wned: lesson learned at least, right?

I don't really care its just a truck LOL, I think the "lesson" he meant was to just get rid of it when you have $$$ on the table, but glad its sold, seller seems like a good dude

ouch!

the ad wasn't great, but man, I would have started the bidding at $9500 and let people contact you privately about it. ebay is just another place to advertise. Often takes me 3-5wks to pull top dollar, but it happens every time.

Man I'm glad we make newer members feel great about themselves. Keep you opinion to yourself. I love how mods don't do **** about this stuff but as soon as a long time member sells a truck and the motor goes poof the thread is gone, not moved not locked deleted. Lol what a ***in joke.

Yup and being a man if you see someone selling something that you think is priced to high or he sold it to low just don't say **** about it. Not like if you were going to buy something and yiu are going to offer 12k and the guy says hell take 8k Then tell the guy **** I would of paid 12k for it dummy. You would keep your mouth shut. The mods need to delete **** like this just like they do with other "issues" that pop up. It has nothing to do with the sell of this vehicle at all. It's just one guy telling another guy he ****ed up.
