Just picked up a 06 250 last week. Since its my daily and I tow with it all I want to do is a 2.5 kit with some 35s on it.

Only problem is I thought all it needed was spacers or springs up front and then your good to go. Now that I started looking into it and reading post on here for the past few hours I see there are a few hundred kits.

I want the right kit. Springs in the front and I guess the replacement blocks in the rear. Who makes the best kit with all the stuff needed like the drop down brackets and what not? Any help will be great.

Thanks guys.

I'm running just spacers on my factory F350, I tow alot with a gooseneck and have cleared up to 36" tires. You shouldn't have any trouble with a spacers from a quality company. You should have the truck aligned at a quality truck shop. There are quite a few sponsors on here who can point you in the right direction...but all in all spacers and blocks shouldn't give you any problems. Some guys just prefer springs to spacers. You can always upgrade to springs after trying the spacers...I've been on spacers since 2007, same ones with no problems.

I've got the 2.5" Carli basic kit on mine and I have no complaints. It doesn't come with the rear stuff but you can either add it on or by it on your own (what I did).

If your looking for something cheap quick and easy, a day star 2.5" spacer and some shocks for the front will be perfect. If you need pricing on that stuff, shoot me a message il be happy to price that for you.

If your looking for top quality, with out a doubt give trevor a call, this will be much more of an upgrade from what I listed above.

Icon springs and shocks and adjustable trac bar. It's what I did and it rides like a dream. All I do is tow and it's awesome.

To truly "level" a stock F250, you would want a 1.5" spacer up front. That would sit level with the stock 2" rear blocks (technically the blocks measure 1 7/8"). Most people do a 2.5" up front which would require a 3.5" or 4" rear block (stock F-350 rear block) to sit level. If you do a 1.5", I would recommend a BMC spacer (bottom mount coil). That would mount under the front coil spring. Below are the needed items to do it correctly.

1.5" BMC spacer
Adjustable track bar (not absolutely required but recommended to keep axle centered)
Alignment cams

OR

2.5" Replacement coil springs (will increase ride quality) We carry and recommend Icon, Carli is the only other replacement coil I would consider.
Adjustable track bar (still not absolutely required but strongly recommended at this point)
Alignment cams
F/R shocks
3.5" or 4" rear blocks
Ubolts

We offer all parts you might need and various levels/budgets. Im happy to help more, just shoot me a call and I can discuss the many options you have.

PMF or Carli only imo. I did the spacer deal, and right now I'm hating that it has chitty shocks and that the axle isn't centered.

A 2.5" kit from Trevor with ALAs and traction bars is on my list of wants.
