Listing this for a good friend of mine who lost his job and is trying to downsize a little. He is interested in trades for older 4 wheel drive diesel trucks plus cash.

The tranny has been gone through within the last year, we also rebuilt the motor about three months ago, and put the lift on since he bought it. pretty pricey for over 200k miles.. and rebuilt components.. i sold a perfectly good 6.0 with 140k miles tuned and such for $15,500

A rocker arm seize up and causing the push rod to fall out from under it and the engine started making a knocking sound so we took it to the shop and tore it down. While we had it torn apart trying to diagnose the problem there was no reason to put it back together with used parts so he got new rings, bearings, seals, and gaskets to put it back together with. The tranny was went through because it was a dodge tranny with 200k miles on it and he was working at a diesel shop that dealt primarily with Cummins engines and Dodge trannies at the time so it didn't cost him anything to go through it.
