06 Quigley E350 6.0 EB Van

Ok guys new here. What causes the hp / tq differences between trucks and vans of same year? Is turbo the same? Are injectors the same? Is the ecm the same just different program? If a tuner adds 50hp to the base hp of a truck, will that same 50 hp be added to the van base which is down 90hp to begin with? Thanks
