06 turbo

How well does the new compressor wheel design that they went to in 06 work? Just bought a used one. I had a WW in my 05, and just wondering if it'll even be worth putting it in the 06 when I install it, or if that newer design was effective enough.

your question was a little confusing but i will see if i can help

2003-2005 had a 59x88mm comp and 72x66mm turbine
2005-2007 had a 56x88mm comp and 72x64mm turbine


I would not consider the 2005+ an upgraded design. It will spool faster but flow less air, especially coupled with the smaller turbine wheel. There is a chance that your 2005 and 2006 turbo have the exact same specs and your WW might even swap over.
