07 f250 NO START

installed a set of warren diesel 190cc injectors and replaced the ficm and upgraded the programmer to an SCT TS. well after getting the injectors straightened out I took it for a ride up the gas station and filled it up left the gas station and it died out it started right up and I headed home just about to pull into the drive way and she dies again. this time she wouldn't start back up and ideas?

Any codes ? Does it crank?

Make sure the FICM connectors are plugged in correctly .

the FICM is plugged in correctly from what I can see its ran a few times sense it was put in and there are no codes and it does crank just no start

When you cycle the key to the on position do u hear the injector click?

Do u hear the injectors click while cranking ( after about 10 sec of cranking)?

Is the tank more than a 1/4 full?

While cranking looking at the tach. Does the tach show the cranking speed? Should be about 150 Rpms on good batteries

yes I hear the injectors cycle.. cant say that I have tried to listen for them after I crank on them and the tank is almost full. and the rpms are good as well

Where are you located? Maybe someone around you has a scan tool that can help you out.

Reason behind checking the tach is to at least eliminate CKP input as a problem. If the tach moves then we can at least rule out the CKP.


Low icp
Fuel pressure
Sync issues
Bad FICM

Are route causes for crank no starts.

I have a cheap scan tool and an sct ts programmer.. will any of this help

Sync PID
FICM SYNC PID
ICP pressure or voltage PID
IPR % PID
Fuel PW PID
FICM VPWR
FICM MPWR
FICM LPWR
EOT
ECT

You may have to down load LIVELINK

You didn't put gas in on accident did you? I've heard of the fuel stations even getting it mixed up. Might want to check and see what is actually in your tank...
