Have any of you guys installed a newer set of amp steps 08+ on a 99-07 truck? I pulled up the dpf for both and they wire in very differently. I think I could probably figure it out, but if anybody that has done it has some tips that would be great. Thanks.

I can't see why the brackets wouldnt mount up in the same place. You will need to figure out where the door ajar wires are in the 01 and maybe if you splice into them you will be fine. If you go to AMPs webpare they have the instructions on there. Compare the 01 to the 08 instructions. I have a 2010 and all four wires were on the passenger front side.
Hopefully they're not like a 2012 Silverado I just done. I had to take off the two front door panels.

They wire up way different, My friend just wired his up to the dome light. It works great for him.
