Just got this truck in. Hasn't made it to the lot yet, seemed like a nice piece to list here.

2014 lariat crew shortbed, 4x4 with 98k on the miles. Black leather interior but does not have sunroof, nav, or cooled seats. Has all other standard lariat equipment. It is a clean truck. Price is 40k obo

Yep, they seem to be holding their value pretty well.

Lots of 11-13s with same miles, or more, are on on here for sale and other places, asking more money.

Have been seeing used platinum's in the 60k+ range....

I can tell you and show you that the profit margin on this truck is 2K or less. If I can't make $1500 bucks on a 35K+ investment, then what's the point?

The price is right in line with market value.

I wouldn't trade even even for a good running 7.3! Imo! I was thinking of buying an 11 that was like a race car. But the feel of that 7.3 to me can't be matched. Especially pulling!

7.3 doesn't hold a candle to a 6.7 towing... Sorry have had both and towed with both a ton.

And I would for sure trade a 7.3 straight for a 6.7 lol

I would put mine up for $46k with 47k miles and the little extras I got. These trucks hold their values but scary that new ones are only a few dollars more.

I'm not here to argue, but that's a really bad comparison....those trucks are almost new, and have tons of extras....I understand if trucks are holding there value, but there no way I could see spending 40k on a truck with a 100k miles on it....when I could add very little to that and get a almost brand new if not brand new.....

I didn't list this truck for a price debate. Trucks in the northeast bring more then just about any other part of the country. Could people travel and get the same truck for less money sometimes? Probably. Does everyone have time to take off work, hop a plane and hope for the best once they get there? No, they don't.

We paid more wholesale then some people might "think" the trucks worth. Ted has been buying and selling trucks for 35yrs and most of the dealers at the same auction have too that also bid it up to that price.

And on the trucks listed with tons of extras. That adds squat for 99% of potential buyers. A lot of times a dealer will spend thousands to remove that stuff to make the truck appeal to a larger group of buyers.

I could list a dozen other trucks with the same or more miles but older year that people are asking as much or more money, but what's the point?

It is listed as 40K OBO but a straight out price would be in the $38,500 range.

The truck will not sale for much less then that. Hope it helps ease everyone's mind.

Not to derail anymore, but since the op isn't far me I'll throw this out there. Lot down the road from me has a 11 F-250 lariat with 105k for 35k. He may sit on it for a month but he will sale for that or not much less. For our area that price is pretty well spot on.

I thought it was a pretty good asking price. That truck around here would be a 50k truck new. 2 years old and $10,000 less? Doesn't seem like a stretch to me.

All I was saying is you weren't comparing apples to apples....you could list truck at the same price point as yours but you didn't, you posted trucks with almost 90k less miles and all the parts most dealers spend thousands to take it off, But your offering to add it in the deal???......so my point was why not show how yours is the one to buy....how there are tons of trucks listed in the same price range, and condition...

The trucks listed in post 11 were in response to post 10. Directly related to the platinum statement in post 5.

Once again, I didn't post the truck to "defend" the price. It is in the range of current market value for the area.
