I bought this truck from a guy that said it had a bad oil leak. He thought it was the rear main and replaced and not very well. I brought it home and pulled the engine. Did the rear main correctly. It was leaking from the service port on the hpop among other places. Reoringed everything, including completely rebuilding the fuel bowl. It does still have a small leak from the dipstick tube. Never got around to fixing it.
New clutch. 2 new batteries. New brakes all the way around. New pads, rotors, and calipers in the front. New drums, shoes, wheel cylinders, all hardware, and e brake cables. New baby swamps injectors. 6637 filter. Trans shifts perfect. New UVCH.
Crankcase is vented to atmosphere, and it has noticeable blowby. Smokes and runs rough for a bit when first started in the morning. It has 8 known working glow plugs. Almost seems like one bank isn't getting energized? Runs perfect after 15-20 seconds.

I got it with a downpipe only. Has a cobbled together 4" exhaust from other projects. Exits in front of axle.
The flywheel cover is missing. The front driveshaft is out of the truck with a broken ujoint. Needs door hinge work. Body has zero rust. It is however pretty banged up, including about a 1 ft section of the bed rail cut out for some reason. Looks good from 50 ft.
AC blows ice cold, heat doesn't get super warm. Never looked into it. Fifth wheel rails installed in bed. I would drive this thing anywhere.
