The canopy has those two decent size scratches you can see by the bed rail

And you're asking $25,000?

Yep sure am. Open to offers I mainly want to trade it because if I sell it I'll just have to buy another one anyways, for those who haven't drove a 468 OBS truck I recommend you do its fun as hell lol. I'd love to drive one with an auto I bet it would be close if not in the 11s

On stock rods?

Quite a few guys are running on stock forged rods, I don't have a heavy foot as far as launches go I roll into it once in awhile mainly when I have a cummins trying to **** with me. I have a spare motor so it never really bothered me I guess Actually I just picked up a pcs stand alone for a trans swap and was just looking at popular compound set ups lol I never leave **** alone if this truck gets an auto I won't be selling it.

I'd keep it and swap to auto. And I just meant that combo is becoming more and more known as the "rod breaker"

The turbo comes on quick(specially for the power level) and how grabbing the clutches are that hold that power level it's no wonder the rods snap. I haven't personally read of autos snapping but I'm sure they have

Yeah they definitely have. It's like gambling with pmr's with that combo.

That is a completely unrealistic price! Brads Crew cab short box that he is selling has been gone thru inside and out, has less miles, and lower price. I don't care how strong you think a 468 comes on, the bolt ons don't make it a $25,000 pick up.

For the record, I have a gtx4294 which hasn't grenaded near as many motors as the 468 has. And spools like stock.

Good luck getting any kind of value close to what you're asking out of it. Especially if you trade it. If you think you're asking price is there, you're crazy!

That's your OPINION.. Doesn't make it a "fact" that he can't or won't get that because you don't think it's worth it.

True value is what someone will ACTUALLY pay. Just because it doesn't have fancy **** inside or blah blah...and it's X years old still doesn't mean it's not "worth" it.

I've turned down several offers on mine of 25k and had numerous trade offers for 6.0 and 6.4 trucks too.

I've also sold several 73-79 trucks for over 20k too. I guess the buyers just didn't check Kelley blue ball book before buying to see if it was the right "value".

You're right, it is my opinion. Actually only worth what someone is willing to pay. And if he can get $25,000, then he found someone with deep pockets or they want smart enough to know what these vehicles bring. I buy and sell these pickups enough to know. There is oftentimes a price that the seller thinks they will get, but in actuality the price the buyer pays is completely different. Regardless of what Kelley Blue Book says.

And Cobra, this truck is not comparable to your modified, restored, repainted, king ranch, super duty 7.3.

I hope he gets it for his sake. I really do! It doesn't me that I can't be brutally honest.

No its not like brads truck, the rear end has been rebuilt the trans has been rebuilt I have paperwork for it. The front is a d50 so it hasn't been touched, motor hasn't been rebuilt. Inside and out are perfect besides windshield, switch bezel a a small stain I can't get out by the shifter. Why would I repaint a perfectly good truck? I assure you there is not even surface rust on the frame rails. Brad redid his truck because he bought it and it was a pile of rust. I don't see why I would pull it apart and paint frame rails etc when it is fine the way it is? Cobra has king ranch interior in his truck I have 2013 f150 seats that are power and heated in cooled, I mean if you want to talk **** cool. The truck to me is worth 25k if I don't get it I don't give a **** I'll throw an auto in it an be happy as hell and the main reason a gtx4294 hasn't broke as many rods as a 468 is mainly whoever can afford a gtx4294 more than likely keeps better care of there **** then someone who can scab a 468 kit together.

Stroker, I know where you're coming from. I see stuff sometimes too that seems crazy at the time. The truck market really is all over the place now a days. IMO. Especially here, in the NE, for anything thats not rusted to sh!t.

A lot of guys will pay up for the simplicity of a older truck being in a area where there are no shops to work on them.

I wasn't trying to start a argument.. Just thoughts out loud.

I guess I should add after reading my post stroker I'm not trying to defend my truck or say it's better than anyones if cobras SD was an auto I would of cut a check for it. I just simply stating to me my trucks worth that not trying to argue about it, I love my truck just with the growing family I see an auto working alot better incase of emergency or what have you. And the 468 comment was I kept getting PM'd about how the power was with the 468 and how it felt vs my 6.4. 6.0 etc. It wasn't a selling point it was just info about the 468. Again not trying to get in a dick measuring contest about trucks if you think it's crazy high cool don't buy it. I know the market is slim Of who would buy this, I'm actually quite surprised with the few offers or trades I have been offered. once again not arguing

And I know my pics suck but honestly it's been ranging from-23 to about 8 today it hit 24. I don't have a shop to pull it in and wash it off. And I feel it's unfair to not post the most current pictures of it.

I love how people get on here and talk **** about someone else's truck- if his truck isn't worth asking price, it will be obvious by the number of interested parties interested. No need to belittle him or his truck. There have been a few for sale threads that I chuckled about but didn't post how ridiculous they might be, there is simply no need.
