This truck has been very well maintained its whole life. I bought it in California from a local mechanic back in 2012. I have personally spent a lot of money getting it the way I wanted and had no intentions of ever selling it. But, my wife's medical bills are piling up and I just can't justify keeping it anymore. My family and I moved to Georgia just a few months back because of her medical conditions. So it is currently in Georgia, but I have a vehicle shipper that got it here from California for $1000. Everything works the way it should. The engine idles very smooth. The transmission shifts firm. The whole truck was disassembled three years ago and painted custom black. And I mean every piece of sheet metal, bumpers, lights, interior, etc was removed. This isn't the regular ford brown black, it is a deep black. The bed was lined as well. While the interior was out, I had the carpet, dash panels and seats steam cleaned. The entire cab and roof was also sound deadened with $600 worth of material. I installed a Pioneer touchscreen DVD stereo, reverse and front cameras(hidden, not the license plate mounted junk), flip down TV, new Infinity speakers, a subwoofer and an amplifier to power all of the above. Putting the truck in reverse triggers the reverse camera to show on the dash screen and also triggers the rear LED lights to light up your view at night. There is a DP Tuner control and four auxiliary switches installed inside the ash tray so they are completely clean and hidden away. I also did the 2005+ Super Duty suspension swap. I had a custom emergency brake cable made in order to make it work with the factory set up. The truck is lifted 5.5" using a 4.5" Icon coil spring with a 1" under coil spacer on a 3 link setup in the front. In the rear it uses Super Duty leaf springs. There are front and rear Fox reservoir shocks. The donor axles that I used had 50k on them when installed and I have put another 15k on them since then. I installed all new MOOG ball joints, tie rods, steering arm and a rebuilt steering box less than 3k miles ago. The transmission was also fully rebuilt and bulletproofed about 15k miles ago. The interior on this truck is in excellent condition. There aren't a bunch of cracks, stains or rips. The driver seat has a few wear spots, but nothing major. One of the pillars has a crack in it. The rear seat was raised 2 inches to allow under seat storage. The spacers are completely removable if you would like. Here is a list of what has been done...
2005 Super Duty Axles with 3.73 Gears
Super Duty Rear Leaf Springs
3 Link Adjustable Radius Arms
5.5" Icon Spring Lift
Fox 2.0 Reservoir Shocks
Icon Adjustable Track Bar
Dual Steering Stabilizer
ORU Black Finned Diff Covers
Custom Powder Coated Black Pro Comp Wheels with Stainless Bolts and 35" Toyo Mud Terrains
Pioneer In Dash TV DVD Player with iPod Connection, Bluetooth and Cameras
Subwoofer
Amplifier
Infinity Speakers
Flip Down TV that can be stand alone with IR Headphones or it can be used with the head unit and truck speakers
Front and Rear Cameras (hidden)
Built Tranny with Billet Torque Convertor
DP Tuner Custom Tuned 8 Position Chip
Edge CTS Monitor for Gauges
Snow Performance Water/Methanol Injection Kit
Super Duty High Torque Starter(very fast start)
Tymar Intake
MBRP 3" Stainless T409 Downpipe to 4" Exhaust
Spray Bedliner
Sound Deadened Cab
Custom Made Aux Switches in Ashtray
Custom Made Clear Turn Signals
Professionally Painted Tinted Tailights
Custom Deep Black Paint Job
LED Reverse Off Road Lights (hidden under the body)
New Batteries
New Motorcraft Glow Plugs and Relay
Rubber Bed Mat
The only two issues it has is that the dip stick seal on the side of the pan has apparently started leaking slowly and every once in a while it doesn't start first crank when it's around 30 degrees or so. I replaced the glow plug relay and plugs about six months ago, but every once in a while it takes two cranks. I think the relay I installed may have been faulty. I found the dip stick leak when I installed the starter a month ago. I also found a spot in the rear passenger door that looks like the paint bubbled slightly. Other than a few scratches, it is in amazing shape. I have videos of the truck stating and running. The bed is a truck bed with scratches inside etc. I bought plastic bed and tailgate caps, but never installed them. I have a matching spare tire for it also. I believe in full disclosure and I am very sure this truck is great condition. I am looking for someone that will take care of it, not abuse it. I'm hoping one day I could build this exact same OBS, but for now I can't afford to keep it.
