1998 7.3 After Market Parts

Hello. New to the forum and excited to learn more on here. I just bought a 1998 Club Wagon e350 with a 7.3L powerstroke. I have been looking for aftermarket parts for it and when I do a search I find almost every part skips 1998. I have read that Some 1998 are considered 1997 and some are early 1999. How do I find out what motor I have?

Right now I'm looking to add better intake. Anyone with some suggestions to that? I am not looking to gain HP or torque really. My main objective is to improve MPG. I primarily use the van on the highway. And tow a small camper or 23ft ski boat. MPG is where I really want to improve.

On your turbo the exhaust housing will bolt to to a collector that is under the wiper cowl and against the fire wall, is that collector flange square or round where it meets the turbo? Being a van this is most likely easiest seen under the dog coop
