This van is absolutely beautiful and has been my baby since 2005 when I bought it from the original owner. Powered by the legendary 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel engine, you’ll be able to count on its great reliability for years to come. The Van is a real head turner with gorgeous maroon paint and factory polished aluminum wheels. The Van has no rust.
The Van has 3 captain’s chairs (I added the one in the back) so there is plenty of room inside for cargo. There is a 10" flip down monitor with a built it DVD player and wireless headset for entertainment on those long trips. The Van has never been smoked in and the interior is in great condition. Your friends won't believe it’s a 1999.
At 135k I replaced the engine. I had the Van pretty heavily modified at the time with a bigger turbo and injectors. I bent a connecting rod due to too much boost. At that point I decided to turn the Van back to near stock since I didn't want any headaches. I went crazy replacing every part I could while the engine was out since I just wanted it to be reliable for years to come. Here is a list of the new parts I installed at this time:
-Used 1999 engine (forged rods) w/70k
-Glow plugs
-Injectors rebuilt stock with new Ford O-rings (I had a couple injectors give me hell so I had them all rebuilt)
-Under valve cover wiring harness
-Ford OE oil pan
-Ford OE oil pump
-Ford HD torque converter
-Front trans pump with Trans-go mods done
-Ford OE radiator
-Ford OE A/C condenser
-Engine mounts
-Ford OE water pump
-Ford OE radiator hoses
-Oil cooler rebuilt with Ford parts
-A/C recharged
-Fuel filter
-Fuel drain valve rebuilt
-Injector Pressure Regulator
Currently the Van has the following modifications:
Stock turbo with "Wicked Wheel" compressor upgrade
DP tuner engine programmer
Alky control water/methanol injection
4" turbo-back exhaust
Stewart Warner boost, egt and transmission temperature gauges mounted in the pillar pod
I spent extra time doing calculations to position the muffler perfectly so there is absolutely no drone from the exhaust. This thing is my baby and no time or expense was spared on it.
$8900.00
