The time has come to sell my 2000 2WD 7.3 Excursion Limited . It currently has 198,470 miles,front and rear air, Grey leather in great shape,3 rows of seats. Husky Floor liners all the way though it. Kenwood DVD /CD with IPod and Pandora and Bluetooth ,with rear tv monitors in headreasts,kenwood speakers in the doors.
Now for the mods!
2005 Font end conversion ,grill lights,HID’s, bumper,and header panel all done right not a hack job.
4” exhaust downpipe and all with stainless rolled tip MBRP with muffler
Riff Raff Diesel 6637 air filter kit with red protective cover
XPS Diesel Wicked wheel compressor side replacement to help turbo surge.
DPtuner F5 chip with gauge pod switcher . it currently has 5 tunes in it now and this is buy far the best mod you can do to a 7.3. I gained 4 MPG’s and waaaay better drivability. The tunes are
0.no start,1 stock,2 high idle,3 80 hp tow,4 80 hp economy,5 140 aggressive. I currently average 20.5 to 21 mpg on the 4 setting. It has a 45 gallon tank and you can drive forever on it .
Here are the maint item I have replaced in the past 6 months and the maint it gets .
I use Motorcraft filters ONLY! It gets its oil changed every 3000 miles with petro Canada 15w40 semi synthetic oil, that might sound excessive but it’s what I like and it’s my vehicle. Fuel filter gets replaces every 3 oil changes.
I run Diesel Kleen cetane booster and injector cleaner every tank.
I just changed the rear diff fluid last week, with synthetic . It does have a limited slip too.
In the past 3 months it has got these items , Starter, 140 amp alt (stock is 110) dual 1000 ca red optima batteries, gates green severe service serpentine belt, new FORD tensioner ,A/C comp ,orifice tube ,blower relay,
I put a New set of Michelin LTX 10 ply tires on it is August had a flat on a trip to Dale hollow lake fishin on my truck and boat trailer. Tires have about 5000 miles on them.
Now for the I guess you could say bad, It is a 200K mile truck it’s not new, thought it looks great, it does have a few dings, nothing major ,the drivers window makes noise going up and down,but it goes up and down ,has been like that for a year .
I am asking $9999.00 OBO No trades NO LOW BALLS This is a nice reliable 7.3 Excursion with good miles,that has been maintained and cared for. We have all seen the ones that are driven to death and the ones that are WAY over priced. If you want a good family trickster ,that can haul your boat,Jeep or whatever,THIS IS IT.
