Hi everyone! I'm headed off to college this coming fall and looking to sell my truck. Up for sale is a 7.3 2001 F-350 extended cab long bed with 201k on the ticker.
My dad bought the truck brand new in 2001. He it was his daily driver and multipurpose farm truck. It was maintained religiously and ran fantastic up till around 170k miles when the transmission died. It was taken to a local shop and rebuilt. At 185k both axles were rebuilt at another local shop. The truck began experiencing engine issues at 195k, so I pulled the engine and rebuilt it. After finishing I took it to a local Powerstroke specialist to look it over and correct any mistakes. Three injectors were sub-par, so he pulled them and put in a set of Baby Swamp's sticks along with a 6 position TS chip with Swamp's tunes. The turbo was replaced with a new stock replacement, and I upgraded the exhaust to a 4 inch turbo back to a 6 inch tip. The truck has started rusting in the wheel wells (nothing that can't be solved with a set of fender flares) and has some minor scratches and dings scattered around. Most of the scratches can more than likely be removed with a good buffing job. The truck could use a new tailgate. The major problem with the interior is a torn driver's seat, but other than that only minor stains can be seen. The truck is essentially new mechanics-wise, only lacks slightly on the appearance side of things.
I'm asking $14,500. PM me if you have any questions or want more pictures. Near Seymour, Indiana.
