I have no idea what is going on here! I drained the bowl and removed the old filter. The bowl had a lot of trash in the bottom, so I removed the fuel bowl heater and cleaned it out. I put a rag in the hole of the pedestal to be sure not to get any trash in it. I put it back together, turned the key on to fill the bowl and now it will not crank. It will spin over fine, but will not crank and run. Please help!

Is the bowl full of fuel?
If so is the wait to start light coming on?
If not you could have blown a fuse to the fuel heater, which is on the same circut as the pcm power.

I can't remember on a superduty, obs it's under hood. I may have a copy of the fuse box diagram on my phone.

I too would say it is likely related to the fuel bowl heater fuse. If not, it is probably a problem with fuel delivery. Check to see if the bowl is filling up with fuel when you cycle the key on.

Unplug the heater and remove worrying from your life. I never had an issue with mine until 2010 @225k miles and after that it randomly would short out..you do not need it.

You can hear the bowl filling up. All acc off, turn the key to "on" position you will hear the fuel pump running (a whirring sound)...you'll hear liquid sloshing in the bowl. There will be a sharp "thud" when the pump stops running.
