FOR SALE!!!!
2003 FORD EXCURSION-5.9 CUMMINS COMMON RAIL POWERED!
Interior:
2003 Ford excursion, Eddie Bauer edition, white and tan exterior color with tan leather interior. Front captains chairs, with heated seats and both are power. Center row bench folds flat. Third row seat included. All seats are in great shape with the exception of the front captains seats. The bottoms are worn and could use replacement. (see pictures). Carpet is clean throughout the truck with the exception of the very back cargo area were some acid was spilled and has blemished the rear carpet. It is Easily replaceable. Trucks interior is in pretty good shape for a 15 year old vehicle. Truck has navigation, satellite radio, rear seat entertainment system, automatic climate control, rear seat climate control, adjustable pedals, cruise control trailer brake controller , truck also has steering wheel control for stereo which currently do not work but can be made to work. There is a signal converter hooked up but I have not had time to mess with making the buttons work with the navigation unit. Will make sure this works for new owner.
Exterior:
Truck has a 6 inch pro-comp lift with springs in the front and blocks in the rear with pro-comp shocks at all four corners. Paint on the truck is great considering it is 15 years old. There are two trouble areas on both the right and left rear quarter panels. (see Pictures). Tuck is also outfitted with the Harley Davidson headlight conversion and the 2005 Super Duty Grill conversion. Truck also has front and rear Hinson built plate steel bumpers. Front has PIAA driving lights wired to turn on and off with the high beam switch, the rear has utility lights wired to turn on with back-up lights and has a local light switch in the rear to turn lights on for loading and unloading in the dark. Both bumpers have shackle mounts for vehicle recovery if needed. The bumpers are also rhino lined. The truck has 18” Metal Mulisha rims, black chrome with 35 inch Toyo terra grapplers. Tires will need to be replaced soon.
Mechanical: 192,000 miles on body.
Truck was originally powered by a 6.0 Power Stroke with a 5R110 5-speed auto. It is has been re-powered with a 5.9 Cummins 305 HP 49 state emissions legal engine. It is using the 5R110 automatic transmission which is also brand new, and built with a triple disc torque converter and updated internals and additional clutches. The conversion was done with all Ford-Cummins parts as well as some after-market Diesel go-fast parts. No expense spared. Most of the items are listed out below, I am sure I am missing something so don’t be afraid to ask,
1. 5.9 Cummins common rail, 305 HP-110,000 miles when swapped into truck.
2. AFE Blade Runner turbo-support 550 HP
3. AFE blade runner 3.5 inch intake horn and cold side intercooler pipe
4. MBRP hot side intercooler pipe and high pressure boots
5. Aluminum coolant surge bottle to replace Ford factory unit. Too big with over size intake horn
6. New CP3 pump stock output
7. New injectors stock output
8. PPE fuel filter delete block
9. Air dog 150 lift pump
10. All required electronics to operate the ford transmission and body systems installed in custom air intake with AFE dry filter element.
11. MAG-HYTEC transmission pan to keep tranny cool.
12. 4-gage pillar pod with Trans, boost pyro and rail pressure gages
13 Cruise control servo and rewired harness
14. Rework ford engine harness connects directly to the factory Cummins harness
15. A/C lines re-plumbed and blows cold front and rear
16. Ford ECM/TCM control engine fan to turn it on when the A/C is running and when engine temp reaches certain points.
17. Smarty programmer with multiple tunes (150HP) tune installed.
18. SCT tuner to install transmission tunes from Ford-Cummins.
19. 4” Exhaust ,Turbo back-MBRP muffler and exhaust. Stainless steel.
20. AFE 6 inch exhaust tip, black stainless series
Truck runs really well and has not given me any issues other than a transmission filter leak at the remote filter location. This has since been resolved. This swap was done by myself, in my shop with no corners cut. I am very picky about my vehicles and how they run. I use them but I keep them up to date on service and clean.
Maintenance to be performed in the next month weeks:
1. Brake pads front and rear-performance upgrade to compliment the new rotors
2. Slotted and cross drilled rotors front and rear- performance upgrade over stock to slow down the big tires
3. Ball joints- top and bottom revised design for the DANA 60 Ball joint axle.
4. Unit bearings right and left
5. Alignment
6. Oil change
Items included with sale of truck:
1. SCT programmer for transmission tuning
2. Smarty tuner for Cummins engine programming
3. Trailer brake controller
4. Factory cd changer
5. Transmission programming and Data log software for PC
6. Programming assistance should you need it.
I have a ton of money in this thing and I know I will never get out what I put in. However, I do not have to sell the truck but I do need to get a truck I can work out of without damaging it. That said, I am asking:
$25,000.00 OBO.
Please do not hesitate to make offers as I am open but will tell you to move on down the road if you are a low baller. I am not open to trading anything for this truck.
