2008 6.4

Hey guys,

Going to look at an 08, Has 194k lift, 37's deleted and probably tuned. I know a lot about the 6.0 but not much about the 6.4. Some tips or pointers would be great. Thanks for any input!

Make sure that it has ALWAYS had regular service intervals. Be prepared to spend big money too, cause it could possibly go at anytime...

Make sure you get some maintenance papers from the owner/dealer check for blowby and coolant color/level. Check for any leaks etc also if you have a scan tool check for and codes and if you have autoenginuity or any dealer level scanner check injector short term fuel trims and do a cylinder contribution test.

If you have the scan tool hooked up take it on a drive and see how it drives down the road check coolant/oil pids on the scan tool and listen for any weird sounds.
