My dad has a 6.7 and he went to put his mirrors out, well when he did the button got stuck so the motor keep running and blew the fuse. I put in a new fuse and now only the passenger side works. We took it to local dealership and the told use the motor that runs the driver side mirror went out and we also had to buy a whole new mirror with the motor...1900$...WTF? Do you guys have any input or knowledge about the mirrors? Thanks.

is the motor in the mirror its self? i am assuming so

you can buy a whole new set of mirrors that are used for under $1900 and i believe 08-10 mirrors are identical to our 2011 mirrors, looks wise that is. Im not sure about the electrical side of it tho

well that stinks

I am sure a competent person could pull that motor and have a shop fix it

I had to dig into my power extend on my last gmc and have that fixed

or just keep an eye on ebay for a new take off
