2012 303 Crate Motor - Cracked #8

[Breaking Habits]

Selling the long block I pulled out of my roush. It had exactly 3413 miles on it.

The motor cracked the number 8 piston and was immediately shut down, less than. 5 minutes of run time.

I pulled it out and put an aluminator in it, so this is taking up space in the garage.

Number 8 will need replaced, shouldn't need to be bored but no guarantee.

If you had it apart or shots with a bore camera to make sure the block isn't bad, I may have someone who is interested. Unfortunately being an aluminum block he doesn't want to take the chance of spending the money and it being bad.

I actually just got a boroscope from a buddy and we are going to check the bore tonight!
