I know, I said I was going to wait and wait forever before tuning....but I snagged a deal on one, so, there is it. Done.
Thought y'all would like to know just what it will do.
DPF PRESENT for the time being.
Truck went on the rollers pure stock. Minimax never downloaded. Runs listed as 'stock' are OEM tunes.
Downloading to the engine and trans went without a hitch and took 10-15min.
As you can see by the graph stock comes in at 338HP /637TQ about what we'd expect at the rear wheels. I'd say that there calls our truck & dyno pretty well normal.
The ##s
Stock: 337.97 HP / 636.50 TQ
H&S No Power: 326.28 HP / 679.76 TQ
H&S Mild: 334.43 HP / 707.6 TQ
H&S Wild: 380.12 HP / 744.93 TQ
H&S Hot: 406.95 HP / 753.52 TQ
End of the day on HOT it gets 68HP extra. But I like the torque curve on Wild so even though it's lacking a couple ponys, it's only way high in the RPM range. For now, I'll run Wild and see how the mpg holds up.
Seat of the pants. Ugh, nothing but bumper to bumper traffic and morons tonight, absolutely no place to open it up even a little. Throttle response feels a little better.
Here's the dyno graphs
