Guys had what may appear to be a stupid question...

I found a wrecked 2014 f350 nearby (less than 4k miles...:() and it has the full up navigation and bezel that has been verified to work.

Question is, is there any way I could adapt it the my current 2012 250 with all the same options (air/heated seats/climate controls/etc)? I realized I would have to figure out the pinouts for everything as the seats are controlled through the screen and there will possibly be a myriad of other wiring that goes into it.

I can do electrical with proper documentation, but question is, is the programming for things like the climate control computer and navigation. That would seem to be the issue.

Thanks for the input, the good idea fairy may be asking too much this friday, ha.

Do you know of any links of any info? Been googling for a while now and there isn't a whole lot of info.

There was a fella on facebook 6.7L powerstroke group that did it.

I think his name was "A J Newman" I followed his build. It was very extensive and costly.

As I remember it the cost was in the factory parts. OP here has access to all that.

Sounds like a good project, wish I had access to all those stock parts

My biggest hold up is the climate and seat controls that the center screen controls, as well as the fan control on the knobs. I can find pump it of either year yet to see how I would match everything up.
