Dude, highly doubt you'll see anywhere near that. First off, its a regular old lariat. Nice truck' but in a private sale a bone stock truck wont fetch that much. Secondly, last year my ford dealer had been sitting on a ccsb platinum, 14 model, that was constantly passed over due to lack of moonroof. It kept getting marked down. I went in July of 14 to get a left over 14 duramax versus a 15 to save me 8 grand. They offered me that platinum for 46, 995. Brand new 14. I paid 52 for the dmax because the short bed doesnt work for a work truck. I sold the 14 cclb z71 silverado in March with around 45k miles on it for 46. But it was all colormatched white, it had the all black interior which i guess is desirable for people who want silverados. I had the rear bumper painted white. Plus the truck was on display at the Indy 500 the week before I got it so that helped sell it.
My point? There isnt anything special about this to command that high of a price in a private sale.
If you really want to move that truck, 40 is your number. You are priced where that truck was last year, and about 25k miles ago.
Not bashing. Great truck and it appears, from the kinda crummy AT pictures (id suggest cars.com), to be nice!
Take my advice or dont, lol, but i bet 90% of people gloss right over it thinking in one way or another, its just too high for what it is.
