Does neone have experience with 250 200s and a 38r with the 1.15 housing?

it's been done but not recommended...

I can't remember who, either Beans or Swamps. It's been a long time but I'm pretty sure is was those injectors and they put up some whopping numbers for a 38r.

Get an external wastegate and you will be absolutely fine. Itll run great. Be a tad smokey depending on your tunes but at high RPM it cleans up some.

it can be smokey im not worried about that.. i know theres a guy on here that has 300/200s with a stock turbo

Yeah but that doesn't mean you should do it...


But in all seriousness, by the time you buy a 38R and externally wastegate, you may save a little bit of money, but I'd recommend either a modded H2E or bigger.

I know a guy running a early 99 van turbo with ported housing and gated, on his SD with 250/200's. Its perfect. Just a tad smokey. Now Im not saying a H2E wouldnt be better. But it is more expensive.

I should have a set of these in my truck with a bw s468 with the EFR wheel from jake next weekend. I'll report back on my experience and observations when I get everything installed
