Hey guys, I'm having some sloppy 2-3 shift issues..And some headaches
I attempted the rebuild with suncoast parts IRONPAC3 kit. Long story short I didn't install the direct clutch piston correctly and left a retaining ring out on the pump after installing the transgo hd 2 shift kit..
I then took it to a professional builder to rebuild it again and fix everything
About 1k miles later, I felt a 2-3 slip and burnt fluid. so I took it back and they went through the trans and replaced questionable seals.
Last night on my way back from San Antonio with about 5000 lbs behind me, I noticed another 2-3 slip..Gah!
Does anyone have any ideas on what it could possibly be? I am going to possibly replace the pump and take out the check valve on the valve body from the shift kit, add the gogo direct solenoid, and use mercon SP instead of the LV that the shop put in.. This is all on Eric's tuning, ever since the rebuild, my stock trans shifted better
