5r110 no reverse or drive

Truck came in slipping direct clutches in reverse and drive, barely moved at 2500 rpm. Put a newish 5r110 and a brand new convertor, swapped transfer cases and it went in no problem, truck fires up normally, newer trans was definitely a good running trans. No trans related codes, no reverse or drive. Linkage is good and shifting. Everything plugged up good. No codes. If it was a solenoid wouldn't a code show...?
Any help appreciated..

Pump is good? Didn't by chance get in a rush and overlook the input shaft?

I've done that once, had the trans on the ground, a buddy threw the converter on the pump for me, didnt think twice...no input shaft in it, i couldnt figure out what was wrong until i saw the input laying in my back seat

Checking harness now, swapped solenoid and no difference... TTt, missed truck jam because of it lol

Going to check psi soon as I make a tool to a gauge Monday morning

So If i read this right, the truck has basically the same issues as before, but worse now after swapping the trans? Was slipping in reverse and drive, now it has no reverse and drive in the new/used trans?

Also Check the gear selector on the column.

Correct Greg, I could make it move before, barely. Now there is nothing. Gear selector actuates linkage to the selector on trans fine. I personally can vouch the trans worked perfectly before. Line psi may be the issue, don't know why the pump would be bad, or
Maybe just not getting power at all..

JJ why did the first trans go out ? How messy was it inside ? Ford recommends when they put a new trans in to replace trans cooler, filters and flush out lines prior to. Because whatever damage caused from the first trans probably still in the system will go right back into the replacement.

Question... Would the 04-06 harness difference cause it not to have line psi?
