Hey guys I am looking to replace my fuel filters this weekend and was wondering if the primary fuel filter will fit my air dog fuel system and if not where I could buy just the secondary. Already tried the stealership they want $80 for both which I would hate to pay since I only need one filter

Every place I've seen only sells them as a set. Check with sunrise ford or Tousley ford for the best motorcraft prices. And no, the stick filter will not work with your ad.

That's what I have. Been told you can pull the guts out of the stock engine mounted bowl and not run the filter. Yet to try it myself. There is more than enough filtration through the ad set up.

thanks im definitely interested at that price. but want to make sure that they are the same as the motorcraft filters i know 6.0's can start to have issues if they dont get the proper motorcraft filter

That sucks so all the guys that run air dogs buy both filters and just throw one away?

I run both the AD filters as well as the OEM filters. I'll change the AD filters at least twice during the year, the OEM filters are changed yearly. During oil changes I will drain both water separator units. I use a clean glass container to allow the fuel to settle and inspect for contaminants and water. I find the quality of fuel I use to be rather good. I do get water out of the separators but it's a few ounces.
