Hi everyone!
new to the site and have found tones of great info here!!!
unfortunately i was a rare case of the engine runnaway and the engine in my Excursion has partially bit the dust. the engine still runs but when i checked codes i had cylinder No.2 contribution fault. pulled the injector and the tips was melted. the engine is a perfect candidate for a rebuild and can be shipped as is. i used my video scope and did not see any ridiculous scoring on the cylinder wall. Just about everything associated with the engine it self is for sale with the exception of the wiring, (injector harness is for sale), alternator and Crank sensor. everything else is up for grabs. intake, egr valve, exhaust manifolds, up pipes, ipr, intake horn, CAC tubes, FICM mount, valve covers, oil pan, dipstick, water pump, thermostat, water pump housing, oil filter housing/fuel filter bowl, Head fuel lines.....etc
i have decided to go down the Cummins swap road and am selling the parts i wont have any use for!
