for the last couple of mornings I have went out and started the truck and it fires right up but after a few seconds it dies. I can start it right back up no problem but it will die as soon as it starts. the only way I can get it to stay running is to keep my foot on the gas for about a min then it will run just fine the rest of the day.

Have you changed your oil lately? I am thinking that the oil filter housing is draining but the HPOP has enough oil in the sump to get you the initial start.

Did you use a Motorcraft filter? There is a spring loaded drain in the bottom of the oil filter housing. If it is leaking it will drain the housing overnight and cause hard start problems. Some aftermarket filters and caps are not the correct length to make the drain seal off correctly. You could also have other issues. But I would look there first.

The symptoms you have describe a problem with oil in the oil filter housing and or the High Pressure side draining back to the pan. Before you crank the truck in the morning remove the oil filter. Look for oil running off the filter, if it is dry the problem is probably in the drain for the oil filter housing.

Notice the difference in cap sizes. Make sure you have the smaller size cap with the moter uploadfromtaptalk1394283793941.jpg craft/international v365 filter

yea I checked it looked like everything was good the truck gave me a code the other morning for the icp sensor. but since I posted this I have had to take the truck to shenvalleydiesel to get either headgaskets or new heads not sure till we tear it apart so while its apart we are going to put the bulletproof oilcooler system on it and the updated stc fitting. hopefully this will take care of it for awhile thanks to all for the help.
