6.0 Truck Build Dates?

I was ordering studs and stuff for my '03 and needed the build date. When I checked the sticker reads manufactured 02/03.

What are the earliest build dates for the 6.0 trucks? I'm guessing mine has to be one of the earliest. Could it be the first 6.0 EVA?!? LOL

on edit: i forgot about the 03 7.3's. i bet yours is one of the first

I would think that might be one of the earliest, just because the 03 year was a half n half, could get an 03 7.3L truck and an 03 6.0L truck.


I know my 05 truck is built 09/05 so they certainly go into the previous year to build the truck, but with the half a year change over I would wonder if they actually went into 02 or if it all started beginning of 03

usually the next model year starts in like july. Mine is a 9/05 build and is a 2006.

It would be interesting to know exactly when the 6.0 became available...late 02 or early 03?

I've seen a 11/02 6.0. I've also seen a 11/97 early 99 f550 7.3.

Wow, 11/02?!? Chris at TSD said he's worked on one with an 01/03 build date so maybe mine isn't as early as I thought.

The first year for certain things always go back far I find. My 08 was built feb 07. If I remember correctly someone from here has an 08 the was built december 06.
