When I had my 6.4 I was going to stud it and I purchased the gaskests, etc.. but before I could the heads cracked and the work was covered under warranty

However I have these OEM Ford gaskets and they need a new home, ALL OEM-Ford and still in the package.

8C3Z-6051-B set of 2 head gaskets
3C3Z-9439-AA package of 2 intake gaskets
8C3Z-6584-C a valve cover gasket
8C3Z-6584-B the other valve cover gasket
8C3Z-9229-A all 8 Injector oring install tube and seal kits (quantity 8)

PP gift $250 and I pay shipping. They will be mailed when payment is made.

All the parts came in this box and it was the box that contained the HG.

Not sure why they changed it, my only guess would be its either better quality or so 6.0 gaskets wouldn't get mixed up with 6.4 gaskets. I have a few sets of OEM 6.4 gaskets here though and they are all the same black/gold combo straight from ford.

Thank Eric, I could see how that could be the case. I got the Ford as I was instructed by several folks including the ford tech to avoid the BO. So I ordered these and after a few days when the heads were magnafluxed, they discovered both were cracked and ford covered the head job under warranty so all it cost me was the ARPS but I was stuck w/ all these parts. Dealing w/ the two respective parts depart was a convoluted mess. Truck was at dealer X but dealer Y was almost $100 cheaper in cost for the parts

Might have to take these

I told the 1st guy to make a decision and he asked to have until tomorrow. If you are serious I will update you.

OEM is the only way to go IMHO. Not to say there isn't any others out there that are also good. But we always use OEM gaskets unless there is something better than OEM.
