Well I have thought about trying this before but after taking apart a 6.7 and looking at it... I agree with crownsville... the 6.7 turbo is not very impressive.

On another note did you know that the 6.7 is going to be getting a new turbo for 2015... It is supposed to be revolutionary... much better than the 6.7 and 6.4 turbos. They are really outdoing themselves this time. It is going to be a gt3788va design.

6.7 is going to have several updates to win back top dog in the torque war. The 450 is getting many revisions to try and take back the towing title as well.

I am sure it will be revised to flow more air. The 6.7 moves way more air than the 6.0...and is just a better thought out engine. The dual boost idea seems to be one that hasn't quite panned out.

You are right... it won't be the stock 6.0 turbo. It is going to be very similar to the Pmax. Might even be just a pmax. That would help out both the 6.7 and 6.0 world with more turbo options

Right but how does the factory sequential set up fail so bad vs. An aftermarket setup that does so successful. The concept of a duel compressor is great so what would make it work?

I believe the bearings are a bad design and the wheel itself isn't balanced right. Plus it's small so you can drive it too hard and overspeed it easily when you tune the truck. Which ruins them.

From my understanding they were basically running near max RPM on the stock turbos (6.7) just on factory tuning. The concept is cool, yes, the turbo itself seems weak.

The measurements of the turbo going on are identical to the powermax for the 6.0.
