6.7L Compound Setup VGT High pressure charger

Anybody consider building a compound kit with a VGT/VNT high pressure turbo. Been toying with the idea of trying to piece it together.

Yes, if you use like the elite "conventional" vgt. I wouldn't try it with the stock vgt.

Yes it would be with a conventional or a modified d-max turbo

I'm having one put on mine. Danville perfornance 64mm, and a s482.

That is almost exactly what I was thinking.. who's turbo pedestal were you going to go with?

I can't speak for anybody else, but the elite pedestal was designed specifically for the duramax set-up to bolt right on, including oil supply and drain, as well as optional liquid cooling. That's the whole idea behind the concept. High pressure duramax style powermax or similar being fed by a big guy remote mounted. in theory, it will work awesome.
