Looking for a healthy engine to put in my truck. If anyone has one for sale or knows of any leads please let me know. I am florida so of course one in south eastern us would be even better to be able to see it in person before I purchase. Looking for one with 150k or less on the clock

Just scared to get one pushing 200 k or more. I bought this one with 226 k on it and it had under 270 psi on number 8 cylinder with all of others at different numbers. Only had one cylinder at 400 or so. Just trying to GEF a good strong engine with lots of life left .

Are you looking to build an engine? Sounds like a lot of work for 70k less miles?

No looking to buy a good used engine. What sounds like a lot of work for 70k lost me there.

Rebuild the one you have? You can get a kit for around a grand. Only thing you should do is have it bored over just to get rid of the ring lip... hell if the walls are good then even just a hone and ring job would be ok I would think..
