87 ranger 4x4 FACTORY 4cyl turbo diesel

Hate to sell it but I just dont have time to play with it like I use to.

1987 Ford Ranger 4x4 5 speed
Factory 4cly turbo diesel
3in lift

The Good: VERY rare little truck
Great fuel mileage...Ive seen 40mpg with it
Paint looks good
DIY cold air
3in turbo back striaght pipe
31x10.50 BF a/t
custom made front bumper
tinted windows
cd player

The Bad: Coolant has gelled idk why and havnt had a chance to mess with it. It will run fine down the road for about 10 mins then she starts heating
Gonna need 2 new batteries
Tires dont have much left on them
Leaks a little oil from rear main...loses about a 1 1/2 quarts between changes

I have really enjoyed this truck and its a real eye catcher but dont have time for it anymore. It will make someone a great dd with a little work. i drove it everyday to college for 2 1/2 years. all the problems have come from sitting.

Ok guys here's an update. Unfortunately for yal I have decided to keep the truck. Reason for this being that I have determined the coolant has jelled bc its getting oil in it somewhere. Since its so easy to pull this engine I'm going to pull it and do a complete teardown. I will start a build thread and keep yal updated.

Doesn't matter, goes fast. lol

Cranked torsion bars and sitting uphill a little in the front makes it look worse than it is, but yea, you need airbags to haul trash with a a Chevy!
