99 E350 PSD ABS light & No Cruz?

A neighbor brought his 99 E350 over. The ABS light is on and the cruz does not work. He doesn't care about the ABS. Will the cruz not work if the ABS light is on?

I went through this when I added cruz to my 97 F350 XL. It was a broke wire connection on one brush on one slip ring. Most people call it a clockspring, technically it's not. On my truck, it's 3 slip rings and 3 brushes.

Would anyone have a schematic, or link? Thanks

Rear diff speed sensor is where I would look.

Cruise will not work with abs light on...

It shouldent the abs light is tied into the cruise and wont allow for it to work when activated it could be the break light not the abs now you have me thinking..

On my 97 F350, the cruise not only works with the ABS light on. It also works with the ABS box completely disconnected. That is definitely a Ford better idea IMO.

Ted Cruz has never worked a day in his life. With or without ABS or third brake light.
