AA injector in e99

Took my vc off to do glow plugs all come out without a problem thank god.

Looking at my injectors passenger side bank is all AB no problem

Driver side has a AA injector in the front most cylinder. Then goes AB, AB,AE on the number 8 witch is fine

But why is there a AA injector in my truck those are from obs trucks. I have put about 50k miles on the truck with a chip on it tuned for AB injectors. Truck runs fine should I leave it or swap it out

Just because it says that on the injector solenoid, it does not mean that is what it is. Unless you or a really good friend/family member has owned the truck since new, It may have had a rebuilt injector put in it. Solenoids are interchangeable, no telling where it came from.

Most sets of reman injectors have various codes on the solenoids.

If the truck runs good, I would say this is the case. You would know if you had a single shot injector in there.

None of my solenoids say the same thing on them.
